Ria Sharma graduated from Leeds College Of Art in 2014. Make Love Not Scars was initially the name of a college documentary project she was working on in her third year but one thing led to another and the organization was born. She currently splits her time between the MLNS rehabilitation centre in Delhi and Mumbai. She claims to have found her calling at a young age and hopes that her efforts will one day contribute towards making a change.
Bharat Nayak Graduated as Mechanical engineer from National Institute of Technology Silchar in 2014. Bharat found his calling was advocacy through social media. Bharat is a founding member of the renowned and trusted social media page The Logical India which contributes towards social justice, advocacy and reporting relevant current affairs. An outspoken member of society, Bharat always speaks out for the downtrodden and less fortunate.
Shaheen graduated from Delhi University in 2004 with a Bachelors of Arts degree. She then proceeded to complete her MBA in human resources and marketing from Panjab Technical University in 2016. Shaheen often speaks out for advocacy related to acid attack survivors and works part time with the Humans Rights Law Network in Delhi. Shaheen closely manages all survivors and their legal needs.
Bhagirath is a finance professional by qualification and training. Born in Delhi and an alumnus of Delhi Public School, RK Puram and the Institute of Rural Management, Anand (IRMA), Bhagirath was shocked and moved by the Nirbhaya gang-rape, which motivated him to start supporting survivors of acid attacks, rape and other forms of violence.
Bhagirath and Ria initially joined hands to support Rekha, the first acid attack survivor helped by Make Love Not Scars.
